Jeremy Healey, one of the UK's highest paid DJs, has teamed up with singer Amos in a new band called Bleachin. The band's album, also called 'Bleachin', is out on Boilerhouse/Arista on May 8. The pair have been recording together for a year and a half to come up with this hard party album that reflects their reputation as up-for-it clubbers.

Jeremy Healy and Amos worked together back in 1996 when they had a top 20 hit single with 'Stamp', which followed Amos' previous three chart hits.

Healey first came in to the public eye back in the early 80s when he was a member of chart topping band Haysi Fantayzee. He transformed himself into the flamboyant party DJ of today and is famed for his lengthy DJ sets – up to 12 hours. He's also in hot demand by fashion designers including John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood to provide music for their shows.

He recently got his fingers rapped at Galliano's Christian Dior show for playing Madonna's cover of 'American Pie' 10 days before release date.

Globetrotting DJ and friend to the stars Jeremy Healey has been appointed music director of new Watford based superclub Area. Jeremy will oversee the music policy on the main nights of the club which is situated north of London.

On the opening night on December 10 DJ Steve Lee appeared alongside masters of the cut up, the Rhythm Masters. Jeremy, who took a break from his once phenomenally hectic DJ schedule has also secured a Friday residency at London's home in the members bar.

The opening of Area comes in a year which has seen new 'superclubs' springing up all over the country. In the last year, London has seen Home, Grace and Fabric open, whilst across the country The Matrix in Reading and Media in Nottingham have opened their doors to clubbers.
