Yep, you guessed it, I've finally had time to breathe
and redo this site. I felt that it deserved a makeover, as the design
hadn't been touched since 1999 and it remains a popular stopover
for both Haysi fans and those who are fans of both K&J's current
projects.
If you're interested in knowing what's up with Jeremy
these days, visit http://www.trustthedj.com/jeremyhealy
and select the 'News' option. As for Kate, you can keep tabs on
her via http://www.i-diot.co.uk,
a music production company she is involved with. She is also a regular
contributor to i-D magazine.
A sidenote: Paul Caplin has been making waves in the
hi-tech field. You can visit his company website at www.caplin.com.
Believe it or not, I have gotten five emails and two phone calls
from journalists seeking to use some of my images to supplement
printed articles about Paul. This in turn has driven more traffic
to the site.

Kate has also directed the video for the title track of Nina Gordon's
forthcoming LP "Tonight And The Rest Of My Life".
April 2000
BATTLE HYMNS is now out, and is the album of the week at the 80smusic.about.com
website. The same page also lists HAYSI RECOLLECTIONS as THE ultimate
Haysi page on the net. Yay!!!
March 2000
It looks like BATTLE HYMNS is going to see its debut on CD on April
4!! Razor and Tie will be doing the honors, with BMG as the distributer.
Click here for some catalogue and press
info as well as a tracklisting!!
February 2000
Kate
has lent her vocal talents to the Peopletree Records release THE
BOUNCY CASTLE. I haven't heard it yet but knowing Kate's vocal and
artistic diversity, it's sure to be excellent. To order it directly
from Peopletree, click on here.
Kate's 3-1/2-year-old daughter Gracie has her debut in two very
short filler tracks on the CD. Gracie might become the third generation
of Garners who are singers (Kate's mother was one too). Another
interesting feature of Bouncy Castle is the track by Lisa Bentley,
who is from Kate's home town, and whom Kate and David discovered
on their last trip there. For the future, David and Kate are now
working on a new CD, "Falafelelf", on which Kate will
sing on almost every track. Hopefully it will be released in late
Spring.
Jeremy is also busy. He and musical partner Amos have formed a
new band called Bleachin, according to a recent release in the British
music press. Look forward to new projects from them!!
Also, it seems that due to issues regarding licensing, etc, the
BATTLE HYMNS album will not be released on CD in the near future
as planned.
September 1999
The
beloved BATTLE HYMNS FOR CHILDREN SINGING is about to be released
on CD after a long looong wait!! Peopletree Records will be doing
the honors, and it will come with remixes of tracks like "Shiny,
Shiny," "Here Comes The Beast" and "John Wayne
is Big Leggy" by the likes of John King of the Dust Brothers,
D. Turin, Seattle's Mark Morrison, Ezra G. and others.
A solo effort of Kate's will appear on another Peopletree release,
Star Dot Star - SINC's d.elder's airy nocturnal parade through the
streets of San Francisco w/ a variety of vocalists, including Jamalski
(of Boogie Down Productions fame), 80's legend Kate Garner (Haysi
Fantayzee) and SINC's Misia.
More details when available!! Thanks to Peopletree Records for the
press info
