but nobody is attacking any of the mods, or Pete come to think of it why is asking questions or asking for clarification on a remark perceived as attack? |

This is the way I see it. We're the seven year olds in the back seat of a car and we're going to 'The Art'world amusement park. We're all excited and we keep yelling...Are We There Yet?, Are We There Yet, Are We There Yet?...and mother (Michael) keeps telling us be patient! We'll be there soon! Dad (Pete) is ignoring all the commotion and keeps driving the car. Meanwhile big brother ( Carlos ) frustrated with all the bellyaching that is going on in the backseat is getting tired and tells us to be quiet!
Now if you all have never had children, you probably don't know what I am talking about...but I am sure you all have been around noisey children. I know how Carlos feels and what he is trying to say and that doesn't upset me because I get frustrated with some of the things said on this site. I just try to keep out of it (except for this time). I know alot of you are upset because of the lack of response or music from Pete but I don't think all this negativity and attack on Michael's role as riding Pete's coattail ( I thought this was uncalled for) is going to get Pete any closer to this website.
Now I have also grown to like alot of ya'll and I would hate for this site to close. I have been a Dead or Aive fan for a few decades and always will be. If there is nomore new music releases from Pete then I will just have to accept it. You know...what can we do? Picket his house? _________________ "Getting old ain't for sissies"--Bette Davis |

Can I have Ice Cream?
Think you've hit the nail on the head with a very charming metaphor. Only problem is, I wanted to go back to the newly renovated "You Spin Me Round" amusement park. _________________ ~ tadgh ~

Who knows when we will arrive. Maybe the manufacterers of Dad's car are controling the speed and it is they who will tell Dad when he will arrive at 'The Art'amusement Park.....OR...maybe Dad is fed up with the kids and wants them to grow up and leave the nest so he and mom can lead a quieter life with no children to have to please with new trinkets. _________________ "Getting old ain't for sissies"--Bette Davis |

perhaps Dad is going to "spin" us around the block before we get to 'The Art'amusement. Im hoping we go for a "sex drive" but i think Dad perhaps has been "gone 2 long" and the children in the car keep yelling "i'll do anything" to get to the Art'amusement before my "heart goes bang"
I think i'll just have to find "something in my house" that will remind me of Dad and perhaps go to the corner and "turn around and count to ten" and wish something special will happen otherwise it will be another year and another "unhappy birthday"
I think Dad has gone "in too deep" and now we are feeling like "hit and run lovers" and we are all starting to feel "fragile" and one day Dad might come out and ask all his "lover to come back" or even better invite all his children to "come home with me baby"
all we can do righ know is to "fan the flame" _________________ thats why I came here, to mess with your mind |

can't speak for everyone who requested their membership to be removed, but I'm in contact with someone via IM and they tell me their account's been locked but they're still being listed as a member, despite them sending several requests to have their name removed. if ppl ask to leave, their request should be honored fully and not just have their passwords scrambled and still appear as a "member".[/quote]
Interesting to see how this question was never answered? |

perhaps the attempt to "rip it up" was futile. The memberships are "unbreakable" But ask yourself the question - is it "what i want"? Do you want to remove your account. "baby dont say goodbye" for ever you will be the "rebel rebel" I think you should just "sit on it" for a while and dont be so hasty. My eyes are starting to get "misty circles" thinking of people wanting to leave. But i understand perhaps will all the going ons with the forum and the like that it is "far to hard" but perhaps "that the way" they "like it"
I guess you cant have your "cake and eat it" but till then we just hope Dad will "stop kicking my heart around" and stop telling us to "get out of my house"
mmm ive just noticed something. Perhaps the DOA albums and songs are all coded (Davinci style) perhaps he has been trying to say something all along... anyhow.... fun writing this stuff _________________ thats why I came here, to mess with your mind |

very clever answer , however, if people are being told, "if you don't like it leave" are they really being allowed to leave? |

I would suggest whoever it is that you're in contact with, they contact Rose directly to have their account fully removed or reactivated. This could be a technical error on the forum, no idea but getting in touch with Rose directly would be the best thing to do, _________________ "That's Mr. Bitch To You, BITCH!!!" |
