As some lovely peps on here know, i havent been here for abit, and now im back, ive seen this and im glad to see that its all finally ended for Pete. Im guessing hes won, im a little confused as i aint been able to read and follow up everything, but i can say im really happy for Pete  I bet hes glad its all done with now.

Poor Pete *Biggest hugs to him*.I wish he got more 100x times more and then some -though there's no amount of money to make up for/ever compensate the pain,his health,his life in the way it was altered and almost lost! He can't get back those years and change it and make it better.

Thanks for the article postings, even though while reading each one, it makes me feel worse for Pete.
What a hideous unreal nightmare. I can't believe he survived it, but I'm so glad he did.

Uh, what? Are u srs? 450k for having to go thru s'thing like a hundred corrective ops? Loss of earnings and emotional trauma? I'm surprised Pete settled for such a measly offer. Who was that British chick, the one with the really bad collagen injections who got in excess of 5 million? 450k is small change, anyone know why that offer wasn't challenged? Dammit, I'm a civilian but if surgeons fucked me up even a fraction of the way that they did with Pete's work, I wouldn't settle for anything LESS than a figure of "telephone number" proportions, even if it took me another 5 to 10 years to get it.
